Tarpaulins have multiple uses both commercially and domestically, such as truck covers, bill-boards and for Protecting for instance boats and garden furniture. Tarpaulins are made from plasticized PVC which offers excellent protection against atmospheric pollution and stains and is able to withstand adverse weather conditions.
Tarpaulins consist of a base coat and a top coat. A top lacquer consisting of an acrylic polymer in solvents is often post-coated in a separate lacquering machine. The base coat is applied by floating knife or rotational screen. The top coat is applied by Knife over-roll, reverse-roll coater or rotational screen.
